Maca Chocolate Nicecream

Hello love,
As you already might know, I’m a little nicecream junkie. I have always been a big fan of ice cream and by the invention of nicecream I do not have to make up any excuses for eating ice cream for the fourth time within a week – haha. Today I want to show you one of my favourite nicecream recipes with raw cacao and maca powder.

For one jar, 1-2 servings


The Ingredients

  • 4 frozen bananas
  • 4 tsp raw cacao
  • 1 tsp maca powder (from Berioo)
  • 1 tsp lucuma powder (from Terra Elements)
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries

The Instructions

  1. Add the frozen pre-sliced bananas in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. This might take a little of time and eventually, you have to add a little water.
  2. Add the raw cacao and maca powder to the bananas and blend one more time.
  3. Sweeten the maca nicecream with the lucuma powder. In case you don’t have any, you can substitute it with some agave syrup or maple syrup.
  4. Pour the nicecream in a jar and decorate with the raspberries and blueberries. If you want to be fancy you can cut out little nana stars with a cookie cutter to decorate your creamy nicecream.
  5. Finish! Enjoy your jar full of creamilicious chocolate ice cream.

Maca Chocolate Nicecream

I think I will never have enough of this nicecream. I have to admit, I am usually not the biggest fan of chocolate ice cream. However, this nicecream is such an addictive fellow. In addition, it is completely gluten-free, vegan and even sugar-free.
I love to eat it on warm days or as a snack if I’m craving something sweet.
Tip: If you desperately search for some ice cream in the freezer to serve to your folks’ at film nights, this is a lifesaver!
